Camp Locations
Brophy & Son
Outfitting is based in
Daniels Harbour, on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland,
Canada.
Seven of our hunting lodges are located on the
Southwest coast of Newfoundland in Moose Management
Areas 19 and 37, along with another
located in Moose Management Area (MMA) 3 on the
Northern Peninsula.

For Perry's Pond, hunters will fly in by float plane
from Parsons Pond. For all others, hunters will be
flown by way of float plane, from Peter Stride's,
which is located on the Burgeo Highway.
How to get here.
Brophy and Sons Outfitting has to base destination
in Newfoundland for hunters, Peter Strides and
Daniel's Harbour. Depending on your base
destination, consider the following options for
arriving at your destination.
Peter Strides
-
You can use
air services to fly in to Stephenville,
Newfoundland to further travel to the base camp
at Peter Strides When you arrive at base
camp, you will be greeted by a
representative of
Brophy & Son
Outfitting.
From there you will be transported to your hunting
destination.
Air Canada
operates air services to Newfoundland with
connections available from all major centers in the
United States and Canada.

If you are traveling by vehicle,
You can drive through Atlantic Canada and take the
North Sydney- Port Aux Basques ferry to
Newfoundland.
Marine Atlantic
provides year-round service between North Sydney,
Nova Scotia and Port Au Basque, Newfoundland.
Take the Trans Canada Highway East to Burgeo Junction and then take Burgeo
highway south to our base camp at Peter Strides
Lake. This trip will take you about two and half
(2 1/2) hours.
Daniel's Harbour

You can use air services to fly in to Deer Lake,
Newfoundland. From Deer Lake travel up the
Northern Peninsula (Route 430) to arrive in
Daniel's Harbour.

If you are
traveling by vehicle, and your destination is Daniel's Harbour, take the Trans-Canada Highway EAST to
Deer Lake and then Route 430 North to arrive at
Daniel's Harbour.
From the Port
Aux Basque Ferry, it will take you approximately
5 hours to arrive at Daniel's Harbour.
We
will gladly meet you at our base camp.
From base camp our aircraft will be used to
transport you to one of our remote hunting lodges.
